For myself my first try was when I was about 12 years old, with a company called SBC. At that time of the internet, trying to learn web design and business at that age was more than what I could do. A few years later I made a website that was creating a community and not trying to make money. After a year I sold it to a person that wanted to take it in another direction. After speaking with that person I learned my first lesson on Search Engine Optimization. From there I spend a TON of hours learning everything I could about business and internet.
I spend what seems to be hundreds of hours going over hundreds of different companies that just wasted my time. At this time I just gave up on the internet marketing, MLM, or whatever you want to call it. I wanted to focus on other aspects in my life at that point.
We then found out on our just after our 1 year anniversary trip that we would be having our first child. From then on I spent every minute I could going over all the companies that I could. I wanted to find a way to be at home with my wife and kid and not have to leave my home. I wanted to know the steps that would make me the money everyday. I then found out that taking action everyday is one of the most important thing you can do. That action for people that have a job, is going to the job when you are suppose to work. With working from home, you have to do some type of marketing, and marketing yourself or your brand is what you need to focus on.
Now 6 years later, we have 2 kids and have been very blessed to be able to stay home with our kids and not have to worry about each paycheck each week.
